【product description】Silicone vacuum tubing is a peroxide cured flexible silicon hose without textile reinforcements. The hose is an extruded silicone tube enabling lengths of up to 30 meters in one coil. It is a high gloss durable finish that matches the rest of our silicone hose range and is just as corrosion resistant and temperature resistant. Ideal for use in vacuum lines, washer bottle tubing, coolant overflow, wire insulation and emission control.
Silicone hose is a more flexible compared to PVC, with the ability to maintain this flexibility over the lifespan of its use. Under some conditions PVC hoses are at risk of splitting, hardening, or dry rot, which is why silicone vacuum hoses are the choice for many trucks, buses, performance cars, and many other vehicle and industrial applications.
Extruded silicone vacuum hose with a 70 shore hardness, peroxide cured silicone due to the excellent properties the material offers. Silicone offers good tensile strength and tear resistant properties. This enables our product to be in constant use without fear of warping or deterioration. Silicone also offers good resistance to weathering, UV, Ozone as well as a variety of chemicals. This enables you to use our hose in almost any environment, requiring little to no maintenance. Silicone features a wide functioning temperature range, unlike PVC which can become brittle in low temperatures.
